Abstrak

Abstract

Objective : This study aims to analyze the factors influencing guests’ decisions in choosing accommodation at Wonderloft Hostel Jakarta. The objectives are to identify the role of image, facilities, location, and promotion in accommodation selection and to understand the reasons behind their influence.

 

Methods : This research applied a qualitative method through structured interviews with ten guests who stayed at the hostel. Data were analyzed by organizing interview results, field notes, and observations to identify patterns and present findings descriptively.

 

Research results : The findings indicate that location is the most dominant factor (100%) due to its strategic accessibility to tourist areas and transportation. Image (90%) highlights cleanliness, comfort, and reputation, while promotion (80%) is influenced by Hostelworld, social media, and word of mouth. Facilities (70%) are considered adequate, including shared kitchen, clean rooms, and entertainment. Moreover, 90% of guests intend to return, showing overall satisfaction. In conclusion, location is the key determinant, supported by image, promotion, and facilities.
