Abstrak

Abstract : Employee performance is a crucial factor in the success of hotel operations, particularly in the housekeeping department, which plays a role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of hotel facilities.

 

Objective : This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on the performance of housekeeping employees at the Aryaduta Lippo Village Hotel. Self-efficacy is an individual's belief in their ability to perform specific tasks and overcome challenges.

 

Methods : The study used a quantitative method with an associative approach. This type of research aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The population in this study was all housekeeping department employees at the Aryaduta Lippo Village Hotel. Data were obtained through distributing questionnaires using a scale, then analyzed using a simple linear regression test to determine the magnitude of the influence of self-efficacy on the performance of housekeeping employees at the Aryaduta Lippo Village Hotel.

 

Research results : The results of a simple regression analysis, it can be concluded that the regression coefficient of variable X, namely self-efficacy, is 0.935, which is positive for employee performance. This figure illustrates the positive influence of variable X on variable Y.
