Abstract: This study explores the economic empowerment of smallholder rubber farmers through product innovation using areca palm leaf sheaths as eco-friendly raw materials.
Objective: This study aims to analyze the management of tourism facilities and its impact on tourist experiences at the Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 Mangrove Nature Tourism Park (TWA), North Jakarta.
Methodology: This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data sources obtained through documentation, scientific journals, and interviews with three tourists.
Research Results: The study results indicate that key facilities such as pedestrian paths, restrooms, gazebos, and seating areas are considered adequate, but there are still shortcomings in aspects of cleanliness, lighting, and directional signs. Supporting facilities such as photo spots, observation towers, and cafes add to the attraction, but environmental education elements are still lacking. Good facility management has been shown to positively impact tourist comfort and satisfaction, while deficiencies in maintenance reduce the quality of the travel experience. This study recommends improving cleanliness, providing educational facilities, improving accessibility, and sustainable ecotourism-based promotion. With sustainable management, the PIK 2 Mangrove Nature Reserve has the potential to become an urban ecotourism icon that offers not only recreation but also environmental education.
