Objectives: This study analyzes the external and internal factors that influence the ESG strategy of PT Sedana Proteksi Sinergi Pialang Reasuransi (Sedana Re) using the PESTEL and SWOT frameworks, supplemented by IFE and EFE weightings.
Methodology: This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study design at PT Sedana Re. The approach. The analysis was conducted in three stages, namely PESTEL and SWOT, supplemented by IFE and EFE weighting.
Research Results: The results show that external factors provide a strong boost through OJK regulations and increased social awareness, despite challenges such as climate change, a hard reinsurance market, and competition from large brokers. Internally, Sedana Re has visionary leadership and a global network, but is limited in terms of its ESG roadmap, resources, and technology. IFE scores of 2.50 and EFE scores of 2.55 place Sedana Re on a turnaround strategy. Reasuransi (Sedana Re) using the PESTEL and SWOT frameworks, supplemented by IFE and EFE weightings.
